  Savoury impression; wood spice, tomato leaf, a hint of smoke and a rich red and black cherry character. Very Bordelaise, would be easily mistaken for a Pomerol. Dense palate, warming without feeling overly hot, with plenty of grip from ripe, well-managed tannin. Ripe plum and bramble on the palate. Very refined, impressive wine.
  
  Time in the glass adds chocolatey intensity, delicately spiced and thoroughly delicious. This reminds me of a young Vieux Chateau Certain, which is high praise. Glamorous and complex.

  Power, ripe yet high toned aroma. Plum, black and red currants, raspberry jam, cedar and sandalwood, spicy clove, juniper. Bit of drief flower, tobacco, warm soil.
  
  Medium to full body, powerful but very defined and focus! Lovely graphite, loamy soil, dried fig, mocha, some smoky and leathery adding complexity. Very well done and classy, well expresses its Italian typicity.

  As expected this is a powerful wine with 15%abv. Lots of graphite, licorice, some oak with dark berry fruit in the background. Pretty elegant for such a big wine. Intense mouthfeel with a long aftertaste and some much needed acidity. Not the most complex Miani red but still a great experience.

  Kleur: Diep-geconcentreerd robijnrood met een paarsige rand. Aroma / bouquet: Wow. Indrukwekkend en verleidelijk bouquet, zeker voor een relatief jonge wijn. Een explosie van donker fruit, vooral zwarte bessen en bramen. Daarnaast ook zoetig gedroogd fruit, gedroogde priumen. Smaak / Afdronk: In de mond fris, boordevol vitale en krachtige tannines, mooi gerijpt en versierd met een prettige bittertoon. Indrukwekkende balans en een lange en complexe afdronk. Algemeen / potentieel: Briljante Merlot die in zijn jeugd zo ongelofelijk lekker is dat ik me afvraag of ik deze wijn in een meer volwassen stadium zal gaan drinken. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Smaak / Afdronk: 18 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 94/100
  
  Color: Deeply concentrated ruby red with a purplish edge. Aroma / bouquet: Wow. Impressive and seductive bouquet, certainly for a relatively young wine. An explosion of dark fruit, especially black currants and blackberries. In addition, also sweetly dried fruit, dried priums. Taste / Aftertaste: Fresh in the mouth, full of vital and powerful tannins, nicely aged and decorated with a pleasant bitter tone. Impressive balance and a long and complex finish. General / potential: Brilliant Merlot that is so incredibly tasty in his youth that I wonder if I will drink this wine in a more mature stage. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 18 + General / potential: 9 = 94/100
