  • The body is Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Short.
Dark reddish color with a little musty smell at decanting due to age. Still has fruit taste at the start but levels quickly with little complexity on the finish. Still a great satisfying taste with cheese and crackers before dinner.

  • Dark core to a ruby rim. Nice nose of smokey meats with some typical bacon notes as well. Lots of zin-like spice on the palate (Dry Creek Terroir?) along with a citris/ bell pepper note in there. As time went on, the bell pepper became more and more overpowering. Perhaps this is the American oak coming through. Overall though, a good weeknight drink.

  • Dark reddish purple in the glass. Palate features dark fruit, but its monolithic and overtly sweet. It's pleasing for a second, but then just falls off and leaves nothing to think about on the finish. There is nothing wrong here, per se, it just lacks complexity.
