Pale ruby, cloudy, unfiltered. Wonderfully vibrant nose, ripe red fruit (strawberry, cherry) with a real earthy undertone. Smokey and savoury. Bright fruit on the palate too, high acidity, some VA, but plenty of red fruit to balance it. More sour cherry than ripe. Fairly soft, with little tannin. Moderate length. A delicious Pinot, packed with personality. Drinking well now, but could hold for another couple of years.
