A lovely Rully, already quite approachable with gentle tannins that have mostly melted into the bright red fruit. Good acidity, delicious ripe dark fruit, a bit of earth, just delicious. Not really a lot of room for development - drink up.

13.5% alcohol. i certainly relish correct food and wine pairings, yet i am also very happy sipping many wines on their own. i implore you to pair this with shellfish, or even some oriental foods. it's bright acidity can balance a myriad of flavors, but on it's own, it's too much. the oak is a little over done for my palate, also. age potential? mild to moderate at best; it lacks complexity. pear, green apple, sharp citrus, honeydew melon. it just doesn't capture or hold my attention for very long.
