Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87.5 points

  • A lighter red but still dark and young. Lots of vanilla oak going on in first nosing, massive alcohol and hard to discern much else. Quite fresh and crunchy when tasted, dry and to some degree austere tannins but lively. Strong oak, dry damsons/plums and redcurrant. Very young and long lasting with powerful (almost 15%) alcohol. Second day tasting is better. Still full young and tannic, but there is a more interesting softness. Very young and good.
