  Deep gold in colour, relatively flat in terms of bubbly, honey flavo, very short finish. Not an unpleasant wine in terms of nose or flavor, but nothing to write home about. Much too expensive for the actual quality, but it did happen to be virtually the only sparkling wine at the resort boutique in Playa del Carmen.
