  • Still drinking very well. A great summer sipping wine. Exactly what I expect from an inexpensive SB from New Zealand.

  • Very pale, citrus, grass, nettle. All of which is intensified on the pallet million plus acid, in addition, touch a pineapple. Million plus finish.

  • PnP, this had the typical very grassy nose that sauv blanc shows from this region and initially it did not do much for me. As it slowly warmed up and trended towards room temperature the harshness in the acidity and the strong nose faded somewhat and made it much more enjoyable to drink, my suggestion would be to allow this to rise in temperature before drinking up.

  • This sells for $16-25 in the US. Organic. They even use sheep and cows to weed and add organic matter to the soil. They practice some green harvesting. Hand-picked from 8 estate vineyards. Partial ferment with native yeasts. Whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel at cooler temperatures. Aged 4 months in tanks. No fining. Screw-cap. Starts off with ripe white fruit, but not quite tropical fruit on the nose and palate but some savory, herbal green vegetable notes eventually come too. Also citrusy with lime zest and floral notes. A little effervescent at first but it goes away. Good acidity. Ultimately, a bit more intensity, body and acidity than the Errazuriz MAX SB, but almost the same in style and quality.

  • The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like guava and passion fruit. It tastes like lime, guava, passion fruit and melon. The body is light/medium. The wine has fleshy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
