Tasted blind. Dark fruit, tobacco, cassis, and tart plums on the nose. Medium acidity with integrated tannins, tart red fruit, more cassis, and a slightly sweeter toned finish. The nose was gorgeous, but the palate fell a bit short in comparison. Overall a nice wine.

Triumphant, mesmorizing St. Helena Home Cabernet that demonstrates precision and sophistication with tremendous depth and concentration. A brilliant crimson color with a bouquet of dried red roses and flowers. Initially lead with a grilled rosemary element proceeding to plush Damson plum, plump blackberry and graphite. Remarkably elegant midpalate flowing with creamy black raspberry and currant with a flicker of cassis peeking in on occasion. An opulent, decadent, enormously complex oak finish singing of Belgian chocolate and Christmas spice. No reason on this earth to wait, this beauty is at the zenith of performance. These are wines that remind us how blessed we are to have such wonderful fruits of the vine. Amazing wine from Beringer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
