Color is pale straw. On the nose: Lemon and orange zest, white flowers and wax. On the palate: Apple, Lemon, orange zest, wax, honeysuckle, and honey. This is very good and very good value at $20. Bought on recommendation at local wine shop. The guy was right.

Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc Tasting (Stellenbosch): (Tasted Blind): Pale yellow colour with lifted aromas of green fruit with angelica, freshly picked green herbs and scents of green mango. Seems to be an early-picked, no-oak style that yields some phenolics that suggest extended skin contact. Somewhat greener notes and closes with a bitter edge yet with hints of cola and ash on the finish. It didn’t really work for me.
