Consumed out of Magnum. Completely stunning. Gives much more taste and abundance of nose than other Nebiolo. Very balanced and at the early start of another 10+ years. Easily. Has that specific orange peel mix with crushed stones and vanilla that only Piemonte can deliver. Great value.

BBR Piedmont deep dive (BBR): Med ruby. Real herbal/blasamic/tar notes on nose, with not a lot of fruit. But the total opposite on the palate; buckets of red fruit - strawberries! Tannins super finely integrated. Lower perceived acidity than others, perhaps due to the oak influence. You wouldn't describe this as delicate but it's fun and definitely drinking pretty well now.
My first Casa Mate having been a big fan of Gavarini Chiniera! Ok this is way too early but it’s actually drinking remarkably well already. Wonderful colour and nose. Firm tannins but not insurmountable with spades of deep dark fruit. Needs much more time but can be enjoyed now. Also wears its 15% alcohol very lightly with no hint of being OTT. Must get some other vintages!

By the glass. Very floral on the nose with hints of rancid berries. Smoked and intoxicating barolo. Firm but balanced on the palate, with a delicious sour aftertaste. Fully recommended.
Por copas. Muy floral en nariz con recuerdos a bayas rancias. Ahumado y embriagador barolo. Al paladar se muestra firme aunque equilibrado, con un delicioso retrogusto agrio. Totalmente recomendado.
