  A deep, inky color. The nose has prominent dark fruits, particularly cassis, blackberries, dark cherries, cedar, and cigars. The palate follows the nose, with pronounced cassis, with hints of bell pepper. The tannins have softened, with low to moderate acidity, leading to a delightful, lingering finish.
