Really enjoyed this. Dark cab fruit, cherry and oak/vanilla on the nose. On the palate, very rich and the velvet texture coats the tongue. Fruit is still bright, not mulled and is still the primary force. Some cedar and spice on the end.
This wine has some hard to find info. But it looks like 50% new oak and I believe a majority of the fruit comes from Bismarck Vineyard in the Moon Mtn. District. 14.9% but not hot. I personally enjoy Sonoma Cabs young/younger because I really enjoy the fruit, but this should drink great for a while!

A classic, rich, mountain Cabernet that’s Sonoma’s Moon mountain, through and through. Bing cherry, cassis, leather, mulling spice, herbs, and long finish. This wine can age for a long time; but drinking beautifully 6 years after bottling.

Got a real nice taste. I’m tasting blackberries , straw, very earthy. Going to be great with our grilled NY steaks

Medicinal nose on day one that is ever so slightly there on day two. Plenty of backbone. Needs a few more years of bottle age and food.
