  Delicious, aromatic wine with crunchy red fruit and pronounced acidic freshness. It's been a while since I regretted not giving a 4+ year new world pinot an extended decant, but I should have decanted this. It was pleasurable right off the bat but a decidedly better wine two hours later and still obviously on an upward trajectory. Well done.

  Tasting notes from winemaker:
  Savory earth tones permeate from the glass at first swirl. Aromas of mint, black olives, and green tea invite further exploration. An essence of dried strawberries and figs leads the way to a collection of wild raspberries and cherry jam.   Another good PN from Gary Farrell. Bright bing cherry up front as expected but not as much as I thought from Fort-Ross Seaview. Layered in earthiness, maybe olive, with a pleasant, very slight peppery finish. Just an all around complex and enjoyable wine.
