Touch more oak and coarseness than the Tyrone D 4 “WSJ/Beast Masters” pick. Less elegant. Oak is a little more high toned and less “old oak”. Finish doesn’t last nearly as long.

Better than when first cracked, after some air seems to be better integrated. The oak profile was very indicative of older Tyrone warehouse picks. Loved it.

Fresh crack. Hard to get a read. A lot of cinnamon and spice. Dark layered caramel. Chocolate?
