Such a standout of 2020, I broke my rule and bought it twice. Aromatically gifted Muscat of orange zest and wild flowers and passion fruit creme brule. Beautifully textured fatty profile with a sturdy spine.
Same score as first go round.

May I introduce you to the skills of professional wine person, Michael Cruse. He’s a wizard - people think of him first for his sparkling, but this deeply complex bone dry Muscat from the Rorick vineyard makes it’s way into five total freaking barrels and he’s selling it for about $29. This is an underpriced very good buy.
Ambitious, big, intense, and if you find some fault here I’d love to know what it is. Unfiltered colors of pale hay. Your first impression is definitely lychee, then peach, tangerine, vanilla oak.

Enjoyable, clean. Floral, melon, apple, lemon. Acidity medium/medium-low which gives this a white Rhone-ish feel (Viognier?). Body is medium to medium plus. Traditionally made--this isn't a "natural" feeling wine.

This is great Muscat! This is on par with my other reference Muscat, Eyrie Muscat Ottonel.
I will say, if push came to shove, this had a little more depth of tone (but same depth of flavor, if that makes sense).
