Orange acidity, ripe mineral fruit, honeydew, white flowers, stylistically restrained yet big Chenin. Keeps opening up with stone and fruit qualities. 92

Believe it or not, I found that this wine keeps evolving after 10-12 hours bottle decanting at cellar temperature (around 13 degrees). It continuously releases ripe and sweet fruit aromas such as honeydew in the glass, and even develops many floral aromas. High acidity. Absolutely a beauty.

2 days in San Francisco; 4/2/2023-4/3/2023 (San Francisco): This was also purchased off the list at Angler SF. This a more honeyed wine with nectarines, peaches, apricots, red apples, quince, sweet lemon, lanolin, vanilla beans, saline, and spring flowers. There is excellent depth here that is backed up with excellent complexity. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and fresh with tart, high acidity. This is just a hair less than the Clos Fremine. Still, it's really gorgeous and shows off all of the class that I have quickly come to expect from Boudignon.

See previous notes. Lemon, white nectarine, honey, minerality and white flowers. Medium plus acidity and finish. Restrained beauty.
