Dg 2016. Plums, cedar, licorice, earth; outstanding intensity on the nose. Full bodied on the palate, creamy, soft texture, a slight sweetness here, peppery on the long finish. Super harmonious and with real character. Better out of (Zalto) burgundy than bordeaux glass. Outstanding wine. 18.5/20

From 75cl, P+P. Couldn't find a vintage or disgorgement date on the bottle, so recording this as a NV. Slinky-smooth, emollient texture, only enhanced by the tiny bubbles, more Pet Nat than sparkling. Dark-fruited (duh...) wîth fine tannic grip on the finish. Excellent wine, just lacking the mid-palate complexity or aromatic fascination at any stage of tasting to be outstanding. 89P(?)

Bill & Crew - Offline #2 - Hartsyard Farewell: D/g August 2019. Cherry, strawberry, earth on the nose. The usual sweet and savoury palate profile, good flow. A solid release of this wine.

Remains top of the tree for the style. Dry yet creamy and I almost feel like there's a fresh oaky edge (think I'm reading this wrong).

BIG wine. Not particularly bubbly though.
