-- decanted immediately before initial taste -- -- tasted non-blind over 1.5 hrs. --
NOSE: expressive and high-toned; apple, with a hint of butter; orange/lemon mix, with a bubblegum tail.
BODY: golden yellow color; lots of tartrate crystals present; {forgot to note weight}
TASTE: Lovely Chardonnay flavors, that lean just a little towards "fuzzy Chenin" in one sense, and lean a little "appley Manzanilla" in another; medium+ to high acidity; long finish, where the flor makes a faint, but noticeable, appearance; alc. is hidden; this continues to be absolutely stupendous! Ash gut impression score: 91. I'm still around 93. No apparent need to drink anytime soon, but it is quite pleasurable now.

Very nice. Excellent balance. Light straw color. Rather rounded out of the gate but not buttery yet remains light with an ethereal grip. Lemon grass, stone, yellow apple. Has a great zing. Very tasty!!! Becomes edgier with time in the decanter. Interesting progression. 12.8. Amazing body for low abv. Left in decanter for about six hours and continues to show very well. Very Chablis like. Just delicious.

This wine is a great reminder about serving temperatures. First popped, at fridge chill, the "voile" character really shows in the way of a sort of a light white vinegar character. As this warms, the Chardonnay fruit unfolds bringing that process character into balance. It also really makes this wine take flight. The lemon chiffon is really enhanced by the light sherry quality and vice versa. The finish has terrific lift, even with some chalky grip. It might have a touch too much tang still for some people used to richer Chardonnay but I think that will be folded into the Chardonnay further opening with a bit more age. A terrific dinner companion. A unique expression and very good.

decanted and poured about fifteen minutes later...pleasant, but the last sips some time later showed much, much better

Tasted after 1 hour of air. Lemon curd. Racy acidity. Plenty of lift. Some well intergraded oak. Nice clean finish. Very nice.
