I know I just drank this and scored at 92, but I’m giving this one an extra point, because we drank this over the course of three days, and on the third day it was showing brilliantly! This is a great cool, climate wine that really demonstrates the clones, and terroir.

Really excellent QPR. The is is a higher altitude coastal location in Mendocino/anderson valley. So think bright cherry and what I’m guessing is pommard clone.

Three plus years after the prior: This is developing nicely, and strikes us as beautifully, balanced, and integrated at this point. Dark fruit with a suggestion of saline. Excellent acid backbone. Very enjoyable over three nights.

Lean and a bit mean, with the stem inclusion piercing the cranberry and pomegranate-water core. A prickly showing, and one that is slightly more complex than the Fog Eater, but much more stand-offish. The acidity tramples the fragile fruit. A slight floral note adds minor interest. Hold for a few years.
