Now, a pleasure to drink, a "simple" Bourgogne that belies the nomenclature. Classic Pinot Noir notes of middle red fruits, a hint of sous bois, and refreshing light tart acidity. Beautifully balanced, and as the wine warmed in the glass, it seemed to become increasingly flavorful, with a satisfying finish. What it may lack in complexity is more than compensated by its elegance and the pleasure it gives.
Rated +1 on a scale of -1 to +3.

Medium body with dark purple robe Nose and palate of dark plum and cherry, nice fruit and weight. Some detectable heat on the nose and palate. Good balance with soft tannins. A bit thin in the finish. Good value given the producer and fact that this is a regional.

Fresh upfront sour plum. Excellent for appellation Bourgogne . Great acidic kick- very alive. Drink up while fruit still sings.
