A sleeper, this btl has gelled and is drinking as good as it ever could. I drank the last one over 2 years ago, not nearly as good, go figure. Have one more, and will be consuming asap!

p&p, the oak is taking hold on the nose, color is about right for this vintage, just a tinge of brick on the edges, the fruit is having a hard time keeping up with the oak, it came together about 40 mins into it. The finish was mid/to short, paired with a pepper roasted beef tenderloin. I'd drink this sooner than later.

We opened this bottle tonight thinking that it could be past its prime and were treated to a nice drinking mature cab. It has been well cared for and only needed a short time to open up. It is a solid 89 pt wine but I wouldn't wait too much longer.
