Starts with delicious and juicy fruit; lemon, pineapple, melon, pear, and on to honey and brown sugar with a little air. Then comes vanilla. The wine is medium to full for a Chard. I wouldn't' call it "buttery" but it's certainly rich. Pair it with something creamy, or buttery/oily. Paired with rockfish, fresh basil, sauteed in lots of EVOO and butter. Elegant!
