Good but a little disappointing vs expectations. Nothing wrong, just didn’t deliver the level of complexity or intensity of flavors that I so often enjoy from Ridge

Last of 5 bottles purchased @3 years ago, this has been a wonderful, consistently pleasing chardonnay. No hard edges, with flavors of baked apple, creamy lemon, and a hint of spice. I expect this has several (at least 5) more years of life left, as I didn’t notice any change in the bottles I opened over the last few years.

Indeed, upon opening the cork you might think this came from Burgundy. The subdued nose revealed smoky, mineral-driven notes of slate, gun powder, and coconut (which came and went for the entire time - we consumed in about 5 hours). Much more expressive in the mouth with buttery notes of lemon, pineapple, and honeysuckle. Acidity is there, with a good, long finish. It needed an hour or so to really build weight and depth, at which point it made for a super harmonious and balanced wine, very enjoyable, and nothing out of place. Drinking well now, though I sense there's no hurry to drink the rest.

Very nice and a perfect accompaniment to fresh lobster rolls.

Excellent -- a more traditional style. Nice oak
