Golden yellow; very rich complex nose with pain grille, hazel nut/cashew, lemon and tangerine rind, later a little gardenia like floral note; very lively, crisp body feels much younger than it's age, flavors more subtle than nose was, citrus with a hint of hazelnut, bread dough; finish is long but so subtle and light on the palate that it could be missed if not paying attention, very good balance with great acidity cleaning the palate
Alc listed @ 14.7% but feels more like 13.5 because of the great balance/acidity

A nose of buttery nuts, butterscotch, vanilla, and toasted oak with a melon like lingering waif. The palate is really big and dense, filled with citrus and green apple with spitzy minerals at front and center. The wine has okay acidity but still has an alcohol presence after 14 years. Drink now! the wine is staring down from it's peak!

Clearly past it's prime though with a little air time it improved.
