Having just been in Tuscany, I felt the need to prepare a traditional Tuscan dish of peposo and pair it with a Chianti. The Felsina fit the bill perfectly. A classic Chianti with cherry notes, dusty tannins, and a pleasant acidity. As I mentioned before Felsina is my everyday Chianti, always delicious, easily available, and reasonably priced.

Drank with minestrone. A bit brooding rather than bright but still as it should be, opening up nicely after an hour and a half. Drink now +5 years with little upside. From 375.
I had half of the 375. Vvv

Oxidized, a bit thin, without tannic structure. Guessing got some good air exposure in bottle before cork pulled. Drain pour. From 375. Stored in passive cellar at ~65F since purchase.
