PnP, but better after 10 minutes of slo-ox, chilled. A clear, light straw yellow. The nose and palate are dominated by grapefruit along with some grass and herbs. The acidity is quite lively, making this an excellent palate cleanser. It lacked some of the complexity of other NZ Sauvignon Blancs, but was "true to itself". Should hold for another several years.

Juicy, fruity, and herbal maybe the three best words since the first nose was sooooo intense, and a lot can be derived from the smell alone. It’s lighter bodied, but highly acidic and dry. Zero signs of oak in the palate. Lengthy and mouth watering; residual sugar is evident as the mouth adjusts to the acidity. I wouldn’t keep it it my cellar for aging, though.

Not as complex as the better NZ sauvignon blanc wines. Fresh citrus and acid make it refreshing. This one probably won't last long. This bottle was overwhelmed by a 2009 Eradus Sauvignon Blanc that we poured at the same dinner.

Didn't stand up to a gumbo dinner. The overwhelming taste was grapefruit. Lacking varietal character.

Crisp and acidic. A citrusy, grapefruit bomb!
