  Short decant. At first this was a bit reductive, with some notes of sulfur and oak preceding the red berry fruit. With additional air it blew off and blossomed into an amazing wine, showing hints of Rocks Funk along with cigar tobacco, orange zest, and mineral. It just got better and better as it sat open. Very silky and elegant in the mouth too. Bravo! Drink now with air - 2032.

  Ran through the Menu decanter and back into the bottle, then poured through an aerator into the glass. Maybe it didn't need so much aeration, but this was one tasty wine afterwards! Slight notes of funk precede red raspberry compote, white pepper, orange peel and a scattering of rose petals. Slightly sweet in the mouth, this has enough savory flavor to balance it out. Delicious stuff, wishing I had more (but the 18 is on the way!). Drink now - 2032.
