Like other tasters noted, the similarity to Gamay is there with this wine. Best quite chilled, which allows its pure berry fruit to shine brightly. On par with many Beaujolais Villages on the market.

Had to try this twice. The first time it was to warm and had a bitter green taste. The second time chilled to 55F, the wine was better. Lots of big bold fruit up front, not a complex wine, with a short finish. If you enjoy Beaujolais you will like this reasonably priced wine.

Indeed, you can taste the Gamay-Beaujolais similarity. Beautiful floral bouquet. But this wine had a prickly effervescence that was undoubtedly not intended. I’d call it a sweet Beaujolais, or maybe a sick Syrah. Explosive on the taste buds, wine-candy, but with a barely discernable hint of dead fish.

Fruity aroma. Nice deep purple color. Sweet initialy, almost salty. Full body feel, then astringent. O.K., but doubt I will buy again.
