Quite fruity but with an earthy undertone. Medium- acidity. Pomegranate, raspberry, oak, baking spices, clove, forest floor. Comes off as a bit lighter (and simpler) than similar styles of Pinot noir. Very drinkable and will keep well.

Possibly some residual bottle shock. The fruit was a little bottom heavy - not light and delicate but not a fruit bomb either. Improved with an hour in the glass. Look forward to retasting in a few years.

PNP into Riedel Burgundy glass (“Leaf” day): Pale purplish to the eyes.
115 & 777 clones only. 580 cases produced. Hotter vintage.
More straightforward than the 2019 tasted alongside, a little more about typical bluish cherries and berries here.
More fruit forward on palate too. More ripe and sweet spices like cinnamon.
93 points.
