  First bottle to check on development. One hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Already some sediment. Classic young Nebbiolo nose during decant of cherries, cedar and smoked meats. Still pretty fresh. Wine was clear, bright ruby bowl to rim with a small halo. No bricking whatsoever. After resting: nose had not changed. In the mouth: tannins still there, but the wine was drinkable albeit in a juvenile stage. Great balance and wonderful acidity to set off the deep fruit. Palate of tobacco, red fruit and some minerality. Needs time but will definitely improve with age.

  Bright garnet red with violet reflection, some sediments. Nebbiolo aromas of cherry, spice, smoke and some meat. Juicy and fresh, powerful and firm. Delicate tannins, beautiful acidity, old school and classic. Additional patience is needed to soften. Lively even three days after uncorked.
