nose - a reductive whiff quickly blew off. reticent nose of lemon peel mouth - honeyed in the mouth with a hint of roasted nuts, which becomes more prominent as the wine warms. Has a touch of bitterness on the finish. 60% from clay 40% limestone soils.

Last of 3 bottles. Gold. Beautiful wine but didn’t have the spice, hum and verve of my last bottle 2 years ago.

Color quite advanced. Still has all the traits of a good Jura Chardonnay but seems to have lost some energy and tension.

Very decent QPR. Matchbox reduction, high acidity, lemon.
