Not to our liking. Overly acidic and failing to show any of that grand transparency that allows the mineral components to dance… Was ok with food, but led the discussion towards Austrian and NZ btls of PN instead. Ah! What greatness you can get from Austria for the cost of this overly acidic juice…
As too many ppl on CT say: "drink up!" I'd love to say: "pour it into the sink!" :-)
To each, his own. No more Bgn for me until the Cherry Blossoms…
Cheers!

Nose is full of ripe red cherry and raspberry. Macerated strawberries too. Richly textured palate, full of that same ripe fruit. Some mild spice peeks out, a bit of orange peel too, but it’s really covered by the massive fruit right now. Doesn’t scream terroir to me, but it’s still a nice glass of Pinot Noir.

RieslingKenner-Scharzhofberger study (Oceanique, Evanston IL): Nose: The nose is upfront and forward with raspberries, red cherries, roses, spice notes, licorice, cranberries, tart red berries, and some herbs. While the nose is friendly, it does lack some depth and expression.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with silky, medium tannins and medium acidity. The feel is friendly an forward with raspberries, red cherries, cranberries, tart red berries, licorice, spice notes, and herbs.
Overall: This is a nice and forward Chambolle-Musigny. Like the other wines from the Bouchard 2018s, it shows off upfront red fruits but lacks some depth and definition.

Bouchard 2018 Tasting (Waterford Wine Co. - Milwaukee WI): Stand up tasting. Very ripe and rich red cherry and plum. Not particularly Chambolle textured or elegant, but very fun with more modern stylings.
