  Trophy and 4 Royal Show gold medals in 2019. Fragrant red and blue fruits, brambles and tobacco leaf, balanced juicy fruit driven palate with the acidity and tannin subtle and integrated. Designed for immediate consumption, although will age in the short to medium term. Great VFM, especially out of Margaret River.

  Has some impressive dark colour with crimson around the rim indicating medium weight, ripe and cleanly processed.
  
  The bouquet for me immediately indicates cool climate with some tobacco and cedar over the mix of red and black ripe fruits. The pencil lead and fruit are almost equal but I know the fruit is going to come through on the palate. There are some fragrant flowers in the mix too.
  
  The palate doesn't disappoint and while reflecting the leather and cedar it certainly has some well-judged red to black fruits. There is good palate weight and texture and then the fruits to finish with cleansing acidity. Good length and a bargain for the price especially considering wines of this quality coming out of Margaret River command increasingly high prices these days.
  
  The wine has earned quite a few gold medals and trophies and is flying off the shelves here so I've only got a few to put away. Should be magnificent in 5-10 years if I can keep my hands off some bottles that long. My rating is possibly conservative and I really enjoy this style.
