4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Blind. Aromas of cherry, herb and forest floor with a stemmy quality. Dark cherry fruit on the palate along with hints of orange and earth. Good length on the finish.

Pop and pour, notes from 24 hrs open. Wow, this is stunning now. On the nose: loads of perfume, cola, sweet red fruit. On the palate: fantastic acidity, good density, raspberry coulis, cola, spice, fruit, velvety tannin on the finishm. Absolutely lovely now, but loads of potential for the future.

Opened a bottle after seeing Diane’s note and I agree with everything. Certainly has the stuffing to age, but in such a great spot right now with a balance of black cherry/blackberry fruit, dried herbs, and graphite minerality. Lovely stuff.

I love the weightless intensity of Kelley Fox Pinots, and this one is particularly beautiful. Lovely dark fruit and herbal aromatics. More minerality on the palate along with the dark fruit and herbs, and some tree bark. No good reason not to drink it now.

PNP into Radikon wine glass (“Leaf” day): Pale purplish ruby to the eyes.
Purplish florals, red cherries with pungent white spices.
Reminds me of the Le Chiuse style.
Great example of the Oregon style instead. 93-94 points.
