Fabulous. Dark fruit, cola, and spice notes. Silky mouthfeel, dark fruit driven palate, soft but not flabby, not hugely complex, but texturally wonderful, and paired wonderfully with a pork tenderloin dish.

Quite darrk purple. Nose of primarily dark fruits, but has the Shea signature aromatics in spades, and gives a sort of more masculine feel to the wine's aromatics, not sure why I perceive it that way, but I do. Medium weight, great balance, still debeloping, nice balance of fruit and acids, has softened a bit, but good mouthful of dark fruit and hints of spice, a bit of damp earth. Medoim finish. Was the favorite of at least one of the diners.

With grilled salmon. Very strong Shea black fruit aromatics with no oak signature. Dark ftuit and spice, with almost a violet aromatic. Mid weight on the palate, with nice balancing acids. INteresting to notice the chnge in Shea fruit over the years as the vines have matured - definitely not a feminine wine these days. Overall, a very enjoyable drink, and certainly doesn't short-change anything. Drink now to plus 7.

Excellent, smooth and rich. Deep berry flavor with velvety tannins. Needs to open up for about an hour.
