Medium (+) Acidity Medium (+) Tannin High Alcohol Full Bodied Long Finish
Pronounced - Red Cherry, Black Cherry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Mint, Liquorice, Smoke, Tobacco, Cedar, Tar, Leather, Soy Sauce
Well developed, yet still powerful, lots of ripe black fruits and tertiary notes, very smoky. Tannins are fine grained, acidity right at the spot, everything is very well balanced, with great complexity and length.

Dark purple. Ripe, rich, dense plum and blackberry fruit. Some hints of underbrush and earth. Chewy tannins remain despite being 15 years old. Good tonight but plenty of room for further positive evolution.

Still very you and even post a good hour of decanting the wine did not develop much. Needs a good 5 more years to shed its puppy fat. However, even at this juncture we could see the quality underlying here, the density and elegance of the fruit, the balance and the layers. Had a bit of a young oaky wine lactic feel that we usually find ( and dislike ) is Aussie Shiraz but nothing that time won't fix. 92 for now but with a hopeful 92 and a wine full of promise.

(At Piora Wine dinner). The score here is difficult since this has been the best Spanish wine I have tasted but this magnum shows a wine so youthful that most of its complexity and earthiness in only a tease right now.
Deep dark black/ red color, incredibly smooth passage on the palate. Lots of Tempranillo old vine characteristics in the offing , but not yet the ultra sophisticated Moro exposition of cherry, clay, beautiful tree scents, earthy overtones and exquisite terroir from this tiny plot of land.
Worth holding the magnum for 5 years +
