  Clear, purple, fushia rim, thin watery meniscus, tears med- to form and fall, stained semi-opaque like core indicating med to thick skinned grape or grapes Nose: a bit shy, light intensity, floral and herbal notes, including mint, eucalyptus, green leaves, no real fruit on nose, no indication of oak, if there is a fruit it is a blackberry type fruit , very stalky and vegetal Palate: dry, acidity is med+ (juicy), tannin is med+ (grapes almost more than wood) – now thinking cab franc – body is med, alc is med+ (`3.5), length is med, intensity is med, flav include black fruit with some tangy sharp red currant type fruit

  inky with "grape" rim color. full body with silkiness. ripe raspberry, some plum and leather. short finish. good balance, not flabby. i guess the richness of the color/ mouth feel just didn't follow through to the nose or taste. flexible, enjoyable, a good value wine.
