Nose: Cherry Jam, Blackberry, Licorice, Toasted Oak and Graphite. Palate: Jammy Fruit with Loamy Earth. Melted Licorice, Cola and Chinese Five Spice notes. Very dense up front, but has developed a suave demeanor in the mid-palate. Finish: Persistent with dark notes of bitters, cherry, blackberry and chocolate. Notes of licorice and graphite linger as well.
Definitely a Morisoli Vineyard wine. Wish it were easier to find more as this is getting much better with maturity. 15.2% alc was barely showing.

The nose is of freshly grilled mushroom, charcoals, Blueberry, Blackberry, and spice ... touch of heat on this bottle. This huge wine utilizes a heavily toasted barrel that really packs in the toasted flavors that go alongside heavy fruit concentrations. 15.2% Alchohol that is again well balanced by the weight of the wine. Needs several years to fully integrate but on the right path.

Lush and rich. Sweet fruit up front, followed by a decent finish of spice, toasty oak and a touch of mint.
