  Ripe red berries and plum with toasted sweet spices and some minerals. Easy drinking and clean on the nose but not much depth for a Gran Reserva. Palate reflects the observations from the nose. A touch fruit forward with nice sweet spices on an elegant structure. Don’t really need decanting, this is approachable the moment you pour. Finish is somewhat light, lacking some degree of finesse.

  Tesco finest
  Red colour with some fading
  Stewed strawberry,
  Very mellow, sweet fruit, just a touch of tannin,
  Mellow finish of tobacco and walnut.
  Not going to set the world on fire but £11 for a gram reserva. It’s very enjoyable.
