  Cherry cola tar heavy on the tannins. Will evolve nicely but needs another 5 years

  Completely infatuated! Needs maaany hours of air to give up its secrets at this point but oh boy does it deliver. Red berries and menthol on the nose. Delicious fruit and a healthy dose of well behaved tannins and a good length. Can only go up from here!

  Drank at Osteria del Boccondivino in Bra
  Orange tinged.
  Took a few minutes for the bouquet to open.
  It only got better as the meal went on.
  Paired with white truffles!
  I have acquired a case of the 2015 PdB Cru Collection since drinking this wine.

  First bottle from my 2016 Cru Collection case and drunk (blind) alongside the 2016 straight Produttori. For me the straight one came out on top but it has to be said, both wines were singing even this young. This is still a great wine with bags of fruit, depth and tannins in a great place - I would say built for longer ageing. Still pretty accessible young though and delicious served in a big round Pinot glass.
