  • Got this directly from the winery, already 10 years old. On opening, a latex-paint smell that needed a few minutes to blow off. If I tasted this blind, I would have said it was a 10+ year old shiraz, which means it pretty much tastes like it should. Old earth, muted fruit, some cedar or cigar box, a bit of dusty tannins and copper penny. Medium-bodied and still quite drinkable.
