Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Okay, this estate may have been run by the same family for 10 generations, it may have an interesting mix of grapes (40% Merlot, 20% Tannat, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10 % Cabernet sauvignon and 10% Abouriou), it may have an interesting label, all that does not justify consumer prices from € 80 - 150+: it is more interesting as a marketing effort than as a wine. This does not mean it is a bad wine, not at all, I drink it with pleasure - as I bought it fairly cheap. But how to rate a wine sold € 100+, while it tastes like € 30?
