With most bottles on cellar tracker consumed I thought I might be late to the game here….not at all. Beautifully mature chassagne-Montrachet. All notes still singing, great structure, oppulant mouthfeel with a long finish.

Nice golden straw color - appropriate for age. A bit closed for the first 10 minutes, but opened up nicely on the nose and palate. This 1er cru vineyard pretty much abuts Montrachet, and it's got the power to show for it. Full bodied, but not overdone, and showing oak, though not offputting. Fruit comes through well. Pretty much drinking optimally at this moment. A damn good bourgogne blanc for the money.

Utterly delicious, graceful and beguiling. The only artifact of the vintage is a little extra breadth on the nose and in the midpalate - richness taking the form of dry extract, not sweetness or fat. Remains taut, with a long, subtle, herbal finish.

Wonderful. Fresh fruits, citrus finish, lots of minerals, medium bodied (elegant) with nice acidity for a chardonnay. Nothing to complain here (except for the price tag, but you can do a LOT worse for a Chassagne-Montrachet 1erCru).
