PNP nothing favorable to say on this one. For us we would rather have $12 new zealand sav Blanc, spanish albarino or entry level french tauranse sav Blanc for the $10-$15 price point.

This is an anodyne plumpish neutral white fruits wine with little length and decent freshness. No value at all at 10 Euros. 12%. Not a patch on the red which is always a reliable go to wine. There is little Tuscan terroir here.

One of my “love to hate” wines. It’s well made. Of course. Doesn’t put a foot wrong. It’s fresh, there’s a hint of spice, there’s pear and ripe green apple. Yet the finish is short and distinctly “meh”. Why is this? I’ve thought about it and suddenly it struck me. Because there’s no citrus. Anywhere. It completely lacks the zing and cut of citrus fruit. And that’s how a wine can be fresh and dull at the same time. Hmm...
