We bought 4 Bordeaux's in Bordeaux last month while touring the area. This was fine but a bit lighter than the other we liked. Would drink it again but not our favorite.

Nice crispy clear burgundy colour with moderate legs. Nose of bramble fruits, tight initially, but fruitier aromas of cherry and vanilla emerges. Slight undertones of spice can be detected. Light to medium on the initial, quickly developing a rather acidic mouthfeel. Medium to heavy tannin, with a quick slightly course transition. Finish is firmly tannic, coated with a high level of acidity & strong vegetal aftertaste. The finish is unquestionably long, but charcoal bitter. Wine could do with a couple more years to soften the tannin, however the poor structure will still remain. Might go better with food.
