Very reductive on opening. Swishing vigorously between two decantersa few times plus a couple hours of air helped dramatically. Then it became that familiar delicious red fruity thing from last spring again. (See my previous note).

Bottle opened an hour before first pour, kept a bit cooled. Very translucent. Bright sweet berry nose, with a little floral note. Very classic D&R fruit flavors, but with a bit of a cola undertone you don’t see in Grenache. It’s so light and bright, perfect on a summer night after a 91 degree day. Goes down so easy.

Even better (and more aromatically expressive) than my last bottle. Such beautiful crunchy and sweet red fruit and whole cluster goodness. Really really good and up there with the best of Hardy’s single vineyard efforts.

I thought this was underwhelming. This was a pinoish color. It tasted like it was diluted. I opened this at a trade show and drank over 60 minutes.

Light to medium weight. Spicy red fruits, white pepper with a mineral finish. Higher acidity, very vibrant. Tangy on the tongue.
