Method: pop and pour; Burg glass; slightly under cellar temp
Look: medium- yellow
Nose: pie crust, lemon pith, vanilla, tarragon (needs to open up a bit I think)
Palate: lemon, iodine, lemon cream; long finish white pepper, light vanilla, dried herbs; dry; medium+ body; medium+ acidity; low- tannin; borderline low heat if it warms up a bit
Overall thoughts: I think it's slightly declined from the last couple of times I've had this wine, but it could just be circumstance, temperature, etc. It's still very good and still needs time to open up of 15+ or so minutes. It seemed just a touch rougher around the edges than I remember, and I didn't get as much of that salinity I recall getting in this wine. Still, very nice body, decent complexity and good balance, especially when nicely chilled. Very good wine.

Tasting at Torrin - 3/6: Bright gold color. Toasty aromatics, with pithy stone fruit and citrus, hazelnut spices and fresh florals. Rich layered palate, fresh fruit - lemon and lemon creme, spices like allspice and clove. Seamless and complex, finishing with full length.

Nice Cali Chardonnay. Balanced. Buttery but not overly so. Good stone and tropical fruit notes.

No formal notes.
Drinking very nicely on pop and pour (seemed to hit its stride in 10 -15 minutes). Didn't notice much/any evolution since I tasted it on release.
