Wow! A real surprise from my bargain bin. Fruit and a lot of wood (I usually don't like), but nicely integrated. Clear ruby colour, perfect for my split chicken on the grill and skillet. Pleasant surprise. Really drinking well now. Drink now you sly dog.

Tasted not unlike other German pinots, with not as good QPR as some of the others.

A pleasant wine. Not much on either the nose, or palate. A little red fruit and that is about it.

Germany 2006 Report - Rudi Weist/David Bowler; 6/4/2007-6/8/2007 (Tribecca Grill): very pretty, floral, strawberries, but the middle is a bit tough - with tobacco dominating.
