Drinking great in 2020. Some dried red fruits in the nose, but still fresh on the palate. Bought from a restaurant early in quarantine for $25.00. Was great. Tons of sediment, but excellent wine.

P&p. Smells good - dark fruit along the lines of black cherry and raisin/prune, with touches of licorice root, pine needle and mushroom. Juicy, almost sweet dark fruit on the palate, with good acidity, and well resolved but present tannins. Finishes dry, with a light touch of bitterness. Tasty, fun to try, and a good value. Seems at maturity and perhaps best to consume in the near term.

Garnet color with a pronounced bricking. Nose of tobacco, smokiness, and strawberry jam that carry forward into the palate. A touch raisiny. Almost a little port like, but with medium body and without any alcohol heat. Medium tannins and a mid level acidity. Old school with a subtle fruitiness. An interesting wine that's hard to fully describe. Ready to drink, but probably has another five years before it's too faded. A lot of sediment, so must decant.
