Has typical Chambertin intensity and a little heaviness on the palate. Quite concentrated, and easily has enough to stand up to flavourful meats such as game. Not a tremendous amount of aromas on the nose. In fact this still looks young, and may indeed be a bit closed right now.

Beautiful. Had with M&J on their porch as part of our first post-lockdown socialization.
(from memory)
Carnelian, clear edge, cloudy, not bright.
Dried red fruit, touch of high toned barnyard, iron/blood/saline. Bay leaf, menthol. Just excellent.
